I read a lot of reviews on Yelp, but I’m delighted that I called David first. He scheduled a convenient time to visit our home and spent almost 3 hours looking through every coin of the mostly-worthless set of coins my family had saved in jars since the 50’s. Fortunately there were a few things of interest that the family had picked up over the years in US coin shops and international travels. The end result was a $3k hand-written appraisal of everything of value with no pressure to sell to him (and all at no charge either way!). We were very impressed by David’s true love of coins and joy in sharing that knowledge with us. After overnight consideration, we sold to him. I can’t really imagine a better experience.

I contacted Mountain View Us and Foreign coin for se collectable coins i had accrued. I worked with them and over text and they were always very happy to provide me information and quoted in what they would pay based on the pictures of the coins i sent. They were very patient with me and i fee they gave me a good price for what i had. May i add, they are very honest. I had a coin that i had no knowledge of. We were unsure if it was real or a replica. They took it anyways and gave me a fair price. Later they notified me that the coin was real and that they underpaid me. They later sent me the remainder of the value of the coin. Very happy with the service, i will be doing business again.

I had a coin that was inherited to me by my grandmother and wanted to know if it was worth anything. I messaged the store on google maps and got a very prompt response. Right away David asked to give me a call so we can talk more about the coin that I sent pictures of. He identified the places where this coin gave away its inauthenticity through photos and markings. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and very passionate. Even though my coin was a very well made replica, I was able to feel better about my decision to call. If it was real, it would be worth 15k. I will definitely be coming back!
